A delegation from the Hedef Companies Group paid a business visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The delegation, led by the group's General Director Shamil Sadiq, held a series of important meetings.
During the visit, the delegation was received as special guests by the President of the TRNC, Ersin Tatar, the Minister of Education, Nazim Cavusoglu, and the Rector of Eastern Mediterranean University, Hasan Kılıç.
The meetings focused on expanding educational relations between Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus, implementing joint projects, and discussing mutual student-teacher exchange programs.
Shamil Sadiq presented plaques and commemorative gifts, emphasizing that the sincere attitude of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev towards the TRNC served as an inspiration for this cooperation.
He particularly noted that including Northern Cyprus universities, which rank high in educational ratings, in Azerbaijan’s “Study Abroad” program would create new opportunities for young people and highlighted the importance of providing state-funded education opportunities in Cyprus.
“We came with hearts full of love and are returning filled with the respect and warm hospitality shown to us,” Shamil Sadiq concluded.
Shamil Sadiq also attended the Graduation Ceremony of Eastern Mediterranean University and presented diplomas to the graduates.
It should be noted that the Hedef Companies Group is the official representative of Eastern Mediterranean University in Azerbaijan.
