The first stage of a new educational initiative for schoolchildren has been implemented in Nehram settlement. At the initiative of Shamil Sadig, the founding director of the Hadaf Companies Group, free mock exams for 8th–11th grade students have begun to be held every month in Nehram.
The main purpose of the project is to support students in their preparation for graduation and admission exams, regularly test their knowledge and skills, objectively assess their level of preparation, and motivate students who demonstrate high results.
350 students participated in the first mock exam
350 students studying in Nehram participated in the first mock exam held within the framework of the initiative.
The project mainly covers 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade students. Organizing the mock exams in the settlement itself will allow students to gain exam experience without going to the city, regularly assess their level of preparation, and adapt to a real exam environment.
At the opening ceremony of the event, Shamil Sadig, the founding director of the Hadaf Companies Group, Member of Parliament Ulviyyə Hamzayeva, and Ashraf Abdullayev, director of Nehram settlement Secondary School No. 2, addressed the students and wished them success.
In their speeches, the importance of such initiatives in terms of expanding educational opportunities for schoolchildren was emphasized.
The goal is healthy competition and continuous assessment
It is planned to hold mock exams every month within the framework of the project. This is intended to create an opportunity for students to continuously test their knowledge throughout the year, rather than only in the period close to the exams.
It is stated that the free mock exams will create a real exam environment for students, while also allowing them to assess their knowledge and skills more accurately and identify their weak and strong sides.
Another important aspect of the project is the formation of healthy competition among students and the stimulation of high results.
The students who achieve the highest results and take the first three places in the mock exam held every month will be awarded special scholarships. The main purpose of the scholarship program is to increase schoolchildren's interest in education and their motivation to achieve high results.
An initiative arising from the question “What can I do for my village?”
In his speech, the initiator of the initiative, Shamil Sadig, the founding director of the Hadaf Companies Group, spoke about his personal connection with Nehram and his desire to contribute to his native settlement.
He noted that, as a young person and an education professional raised in Nehram, he has always thought about the question “What can I do for my village?” Based on this idea, Hadaf decided to organize monthly mock exams in Nehram to help 8th–11th grade students studying there better prepare for graduation exams.
According to Shamil Sadig, the fact that most mock exams are paid and held in the city can create additional difficulties for some students. Organizing the exams directly in Nehram and free of charge will serve to eliminate these obstacles.
He stated that allocating scholarships for the first three students who achieve high results would also have a positive impact on their educational motivation.
With the statement, “In the future, this will be a success for our village, our Nakhchivan, and Azerbaijan,” it was emphasized that the initiative has a broader purpose.
“We will witness the successes of these students in the future”
Speaking at the event, Member of Parliament Ulviyyə Hamzayeva highly appreciated the initiative. She noted that such steps are important projects aimed at the future, expressed her gratitude to the Hadaf Companies Group, and wished success to the project.
Ulviyyə Hamzayeva expressed her confidence that the residents of Nehram and the Nakhchivan public would highly appreciate this initiative. According to her, such projects will contribute to increasing students' successes in the future.
The book “Children of Victory” was presented to the students as a gift
Another special moment for the students also took place within the framework of the event. Shamil Sadig, the founding director of the Hadaf Companies Group and a writer, presented students with his book “Children of Victory,” dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War and the Victory in Karabakh.
The continued nature of the project will allow more Nehram schoolchildren to benefit from these opportunities in the future.
The initiative, aimed at expanding educational opportunities, regularly assessing students, and encouraging them to achieve high results, is expected to become an additional support platform for schoolchildren in Nehram.
The implementation of such initiatives is an indication of the support provided to the development of education, the realization of schoolchildren's potential, and the upbringing of successful young people of the future.
