The Second Turkish Integration Olympiad Will Be Held

The 2nd Turkish Integration Olympiad (TIO) is a competition among school students from Turkish states and national institutions.

This Olympiad aims to raise awareness of the motto "Unity in Language, Thought, and Work" among Turkish peoples and to bring together young representatives of fraternal nations through education.

TIO is based on the Friendship of Sciences Olympiad (FDO), which was established in 2009 by Hədəf Publications, a part of Hədəf Companies Group. Over 14 editions, FDO has used an integrative question format where each question combines elements from 2 to 5 different subjects. In TIO, at least one subject in each question will be related to the geography, literature, history, culture, or common scientific heritage of the Turkish world.

Objectives of the Olympiad:

• Supporting the idea of a common language, alphabet, and textbooks among Turkish nations;

• Promoting shared knowledge among secondary school students in the Turkish world;

• Establishing cooperation among Turkish youth through TIO;

• Encouraging awareness of "Unity in Work, Language, and Action" and demonstrating the shared culture of Turkish peoples.

Participants:

TIO is open to all school students from the Turkish world.

Participation Rules:

• Each Turkic-speaking country will organize its own selection round.

• Students scoring above 40% in the selection round will qualify for the final.

• The competition is open to students aged 13 to 16 by the final registration deadline.

Competition Format:

TIO will be held in two stages:

1. National Selection Round – April 6, 2025 (held online in each participating country).

2. Final Round – May 3, 2025, in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Exam Details:

• Duration: 60 minutes

• Total Questions: 20

• Scoring System:

  • 5 easy questions – 4 points each

  • 10 medium questions – 5 points each

  • 5 difficult questions – 6 points each

  • Maximum score: 100 points
