On July 4, 2025, at the headquarters of Hədəf Companies Group, a significant meeting took place between the founding director of the Group, Shamil Sadiq, and representatives of the Turkish Cypriot Businessmen Association (İŞAD) from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The event was attended by Shamil Sadiq, the founding director of Hədəf Companies Group; Elvin Aliyev, Deputy General Director; Enver Mamulcu, Chairman of İŞAD; Metin Yılgın, Secretary General; İlhami Bilgen, İŞAD’s representative in Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Board; as well as board member Raci Yıldız.
During the meeting, the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus were emphasized, and the importance of further strengthening these ties in the fields of economy, culture, and education was highlighted.
İlhami Bilgen presented Shamil Sadiq with a symbolic gift — a figure of an emerald bird and a plaque featuring the flags of Cyprus, Azerbaijan, and Turkey, symbolizing the idea of “one nation, three states.” This meaningful gift represents the unbreakable bonds and shared cultural roots between the peoples.
In return, Shamil Sadiq gifted Enver Mamulcu a traditional Bukhara hat with the Hədəf logo, a gesture reflecting deep respect based on Azerbaijan’s national values and hospitality traditions.
The meeting concluded with mutual understanding, a spirit of cooperation, and agreement on future joint plans. Both sides expressed confidence that concrete collaborative projects would begin in the near future.
